Gamble St Corner is a guerrilla veg & flower garden on the corner of Gamble St and Forest Rd WEst in Radford NG7, started in Feb 2023.

Previously a neglected piece of wasteland, in 2023 we turned it into an art filled green oasis providing fresh veg and flowers to the community. We created an eye catching veg mural as a backdrop to ensure a welcoming and vibrant destination. Wildlife is encouraged into the space by a variety of pollinator friendly plants and the installation of 3 bee houses.

We hold regular garden sessions at  Gamble St Corner every Friday Morning 10am - 12pm, during that time we get up to allsorts, sowing seeds, planting seedlings, painting murals and signage, looking after the veg, planning events as well as the more boring activities of rubbish clearing and weeding!

There are usually a minimum of 3 or 4 of us and sometimes up to 10 on a good day!

Everyone is welcome , no gardening experience is necessary,

Equipment is provided - gloves, hand tools etc.

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty (or paint stained on days when we are painting!)
